Here are some of the reviews we have received from our readers on Carnival Cruise Lines.

My husband and I went on our first cruise in August of 2005. We chose a Carnival cruise because we live in the Tampa Bay area and the cruise ship departs from the Port of Tampa. We booked our Carnival cruise on expedia.com but then later noticed carnival.com was offering free room upgrades. I was disappointed that we booked without the free upgrades so I sent an email to carnival to inquire if those upgrades could still apply to us; after hearing nothing back from Carnival, I figured we were out of luck… To my surprise when we were going through the boarding process the lady checking us in, happily announced that Carnival Cruise Lines gave us a free room upgrade from an ocean view room to a balcony suite. That was the start of our spectacular experience with Carnival Cruise Lines and the ship we sailed on called the Inspiration.

Every aspect of our cruise was more enjoyable than I imagined. Our suite and the Inspiration cruise ship was kept sparkling clean. The dining room food was superb and the 24 hour room service was so convenient. The activities onboard our Carnival cruise were fun and relaxing and the Carnival Cruise Line staff and the Inspiration staff were attentive, informative, friendly and extremely helpful.

Our balcony suite on the Inspiration was incredible. Housekeeping was wonderful. Our room was spotless. Housekeeping made cute little animals out of the towels and turned down our bed each night. They were so friendly if you needed anything or had any questions. The suite was equipped with its own bathroom of course, a couch, a television, a refrigerator, wine glasses, and a mirrored wall. The bed was so cozy; it had a super comfortable white down comforter on it along with cozy down pillows. The balcony was more than spectacular. We sat out there, had a few drinks, watched the people pass by on the deck below and just enjoyed the beautiful views the balcony offered both out at sea and in the Ports. Our suite was stocked with beverages you could purchase; room service just added it to your room tab. The bathrooms were stalked with any small toiletry items you may need or forgot to bring with you. The suite and housekeeping service were more than up to par.

The food was very good. You sit with the same people every meal so you get to know them. The people we dined with were terrific; we actually hung out with them outside of meals. There also was never a lack of food; there are three meal sittings a day, a restaurant always serving food, midnight buffets and room service. The dining room staff on the Inspiration was amazing. Our servers took such good care of us; I think our server is one of our fondest, most memorable experiences aboard the Inspiration. He was funny, kind and truly genuine. We couldn't have asked for better dining service…

Carnival calls its ships Fun Ships, and now I know why. There are many fun things to do while you are on the ship. There are Vegas style shows at night… The nightly shows were terrific. There were many upbeat performers singing and dancing with fun flashy costumes. The Inspiration has three or four night clubs ranging from piano bars and cigar bars to dance clubs. There is a fitness area and a track on the roof deck to jog or walk on. There are 2 pools, one with a big slide and one smaller one for families with younger children or for couples to enjoy. The smaller pool was not crowded at all. Carnival Cruise Line directed fun activities for the passengers, and let's not forget the casino. We had a lot of fun in the casino. Played for hours throughout our whole trip and when the trip ended we only lost 100 bucks. Not bad for all the fun we had there…

We embarked on a four day cruise which departed August 25th 2005; this was the time Hurricane Katrina was threatening the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf Coast. Because of the intensity of the storm, its projected path and the path the ship was taking to Mexico was very important to us. We needed up-to-date, informative information pertaining to the storm and its path throughout our entire cruise. The staff at Carnival Cruise Lines kept us very informed on the direction of the Hurricane, where we were going and assured us that they would keep us well out of the path of the hurricane. They held gatherings every so often to keep us informed and to answer any questions we had.

We could not have asked for better service. Thanks Carnival.

For my 80th birthday, my family surprised me with a Carnival cruise, sailing from Miami, FL. What an experience of a lifetime. I'm still telling my friends at Bingo about the beautiful accommodations, excellent food, and terrific shows, and it has been over six months since my cruise.

Thanks for the memories Carnival.

Carnival made our wedding an event that my wife and I will always cherish. A cruise was the best way for our family members to get together and actually spend some time together, because we are spread out between Canada and the U.S.

Everything that Carnival did for us made it the perfect wedding. From our wedding ceremony to the beautifully decorated reception and wonderful cake, it couldn't have been better!

Thanks for all the special memories Carnival.
